Since its founding in 1995, the WARM Property Pool has delivered dependable property coverage and expanded risk management services to Wyoming’s local governments. Established through a Joint Powers Board by the original four Liability Pool members—City of Cheyenne, City of Laramie, Laramie County, and Natrona County—along with Albany County and Park County, the Pool was built on collaboration and a shared commitment to public asset protection. Three decades later, it has grown to 61 members and now protects over $4.3 billion in public property statewide. Guided by a nine-member board, the WARM Property Pool offers tailored coverage, long-term financial stability, and responsive service to meet the evolving needs of Wyoming’s public sector.
Covers physical buildings, contents, and other tangible assets owned by the member entity against a range of risks including fire, weather, and vandalism.
Provides protection for mechanical and electrical equipment against breakdowns and resulting property damage or business interruption.
Covers physical damage to owned vehicles from collision, theft, weather, and other covered causes.
Protects specialized machinery, tools, and equipment from loss or damage due to accidents, theft, or other perils.
Insures valuable artwork owned by the entity against risks such as theft, damage, or loss.
Offers coverage for the loss or injury of animals owned by the member entity, such as K-9 units or livestock.
Protects against losses from employee dishonesty, theft, forgery, or other criminal acts.
Provides financial protection against cyber risks, including data breaches, system attacks, and liability for compromised information.
